A research project that has been monitoring the health and development of around eight thousand children from the Greater Porto area since 2005, aiming to continuously evaluate their growth. This is the Geração 21 project, which we have supported from its inception by creating its visual identity and website. Initially, given the target audience was children, we designed a playful and child-friendly aesthetic. This was brought to life through illustrations that reflected each child's personality and a logo crafted from their own drawings.
As the project evolved, we updated its visual identity to align with the growth of its participants, adopting a more teen-focused design. This shift introduced a more mature, straightforward, and youth-oriented visual language. The website serves as Geração 21's digital showcase, highlighting the work of the research team and its participants in a fully responsive format, ensuring an optimal experience on any device.
