The rebranding of SPM (a portuguese stone quarry company) presented a clear challenge: modernising the existing logo while preserving the essence of a brand built on decades of expertise in stonework—a timeless symbol of solidity and tradition.
Drawing inspiration from the original logo, we reimagined its lines to create a design reminiscent of a finely polished stone. This new look embodies granite, the core of SPM’s craft, with refined edges and textures that introduce a sense of depth and sophistication. The bold, precise typography reinforces the brand’s technical expertise and enduring strength.
A terracotta-inspired colour palette complements the visual identity, evoking a profound connection to the earth, the raw material, and the enduring quality of granite.
The result is a refreshed identity that celebrates SPM’s rich heritage while confidently positioning the brand as a forward-thinking leader in the industry.
